Nate @ Dogfish Head in DE - Jenna KelleyHello,
It's been a while since I've written. I hope everyone is doing well in the world. We're out and about and doing our thing. We've had a lot of fun the last couple of months.
Back in June we had a major malfunction with our van, Vanna, and she had to be put out to pasture. It was a tough decision and a stressful event but after an exhaustive two day search we ended up with a "newish" van from AJ's Auto Sales in Ephrata. We'll have more pics soon, but check it out below:

"Van" MorrisonIn other news, we've had the opportunity to share the stage with a few of our friends this summer. We played a date in June with the
famous Ronnie Ray. Ronnie is a good bro with lots of talent and tons of soul. If you get an opportunity to see him you
won't be disappointed. In July we had the honor of participating in the annual Bucks County Blues Picnic. If you want to have a good time
this is one great party!!!! Great food, great location, two stages, and great people. This is one of the best organized events we've ever
attended. We had the honor of sharing the bill with the Gashouse Gorillas, Jill West, Michael Berks, Diki Du and the Zydeco Crew, Ambush
and Paul Mark and the Van Dorens. Great folks and great show. Check them out at www.bucksbluessociety.com.
Less than a week later we had the opportunity to open up for Chris Thomas King at Gullifties. Chris is a gentleman and a pleasure to see. He is a best know for his work in the films "O Brother Where Art Thou?" and "Ray". Chris did a good band set but really tore the place up with his acoustic stuff. Thanks to everyone who attended that show.
We've made a lot of new friends this summer and the band is very, very thankful for the support.
We're in the process of writing new material and have about 1/2 of the songs written for a new album. We've resumed a regular rehearsal schedule so we're getting back on track. The live album is in process. As a result of our automotive set back we had to more some of our budget to other areas... mainly transportation. We're gathering capital right now and hope to have this live blues CD out by October at the latest.
Plans are in motion for a new t-shirt. My good friend, Eric, at The Illustrated Man is going to be collaborating with our design team (Pete, Chris, Mike, and I) to come up with a vintage tattoo inspired t-shirt. If you are interested in getting tattooed you couldn't find a nicer shop, with better artists. Check 'em out at www.theillustratedman.com you'll be glad you did.
We hope that everyone is doing well. Keep an eye on the website for upcoming dates and news. Enjoy the rest of your summer and thanks for your ongoing support and friendship. As always if you're coming out to see the band make sure you call ahead to confirm everything is ok. Things happen.
God Bless and Thank You
